In the Kleine Zaal we mark the 50-year anniversary of the Fraeylemaborg as a wedding venue. Wedding photographs taken onsite through the years take centre stage.

In the Groene Kamer of the Fraeylemaborg you will see aregularly changing selection of the work of the artist Gerrit van Houten (1866-1934).

From her studio in Amsterdam, the artist creates large installations, glass and ceramics. The selection of glass objects in this solo exhibition shows the enormous variety of her work.

Five residents of Slochteren work with photographers to create a portrait of their village, their lives and their view of the future. The residents determined what should be portrayed, the photographers of Noorderlicht determined how and in what form.
